Twelve months in the archetypes.
A guided year of reading, conversation, and inner work — open to anyone willing to take the figures seriously.
Anyone who reads themselves and the world in images and wants a better vocabulary for what they're seeing.
Writers, artists, parents, builders, people in the middle of a turn — the program is built for working with archetypal material in an ordinary life, not only a professional one.
The only real requirement is curiosity and the time to do the reading.
- Module I7 weeks
Foundations: Reading Jung
An honest reading-Jung primer — biography enough to read him in context, the core vocabulary, and a staged path through the writing (Memories, Dreams, Reflections; Man and His Symbols; into the Collected Works). You leave knowing what to read next and why the Collected Works are sequenced by theme rather than chronology.
- Module II7 weeks
The Structure of the Psyche
The structural model in working order: ego, persona, shadow, anima and animus, Self, the personal and collective unconscious, and the theory of complexes Jung built from the Word Association Experiment. The architecture, the energetics, and how the parts negotiate with each other in an ordinary life.
- Module III10 weeks
The Archetypes
Close reading of the ten principal figures Jung named — Self, Persona, Shadow, Anima, Animus, Hero, Trickster, Wise Old Man, Great Mother, Divine Child — across mythology, religion, literature, and dream. Pattern recognition you can actually use, with one week per archetype.
- Module IV8 weeks
Dream and Image
Jung's clinical method on your own primary material: dream analysis (subjective and objective levels), the amplification method drawing on myth and comparative symbolism, and active imagination as Jung developed it through the Red Book period. Includes basic literacy in the symbolic systems Jung worked with — alchemy, fairy tale, religious image.
- Module V8 weeks
Individuation in Practice
The long arc of the work: the two halves of life, the midlife turn, and the ego–Self axis as Edinger mapped it. What individuation actually asks of an ordinary biography, and how it differs from self-improvement, spiritual bypass, and clinical cure.
